The beauty of Yoga Therapy is in its personalized approach to wellness. We aim to provide a supportive environment to give appropriate attention to each individual, whether in a private session or a group class. By keeping the class sizes small, we can give the required consideration to each student.

We will work with you one on one to ensure the Yoga practice is suited to your unique anatomy.
Progress
Continue to practice at your own pace at home, as it fits into your daily routine. Your next follow-up session can be built on and adjusted to suit your needs as you progress or your goals change.

Maija Riemer
Yoga Therapist & Yoga Teacher
Maija pursued Yoga Therapy to help those seeking relief from pain or to improve their wellness. She uses Yoga as the modality to provide physical therapy to clients.
She is certified by The Yoga Therapy Centre and has been practicing Yoga for over two decades. Her love for Yoga started at the age of 9 when she attended her first Yoga class and has been practising ever since. After finishing her undergrad at the University of Guelph, Maija wanted to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of Yoga. She moved to Vancouver in 2019 and received her Yoga Teacher Training Certification from Vancouver School of Healing Arts.
Maija’s Yoga career came full circle in 2022 when she graduated from The Yoga Therapy Centre under the same teacher she took her very first class with.
Maija hopes to make the tools of Yoga accessible to everyone and provide holistic wellness as a way of life.
